Closing Day Checklist

Buyer

1. Bring with you a valid driver's license, passport, or other government-issued photo identification.

2. Send a wire transfer for your funds to close.

3. Bring any additional documents your lender has requested you provide at closing.

     **If you will not be present for the closing,  you must let your lender and title company know ahead of time.  The title company can prepare a power of attorney if needed.  Title Company and Lender must approve the power of attorney prior to signing.

4.  Contact utility companies to confirm services are turned on in your name after signing is complete.

Seller:

1. Bring with you a valid driver's license, passport, or other government-issued photo identification.

2. Bring your wire instructions with you if you would like the title company to wire your proceeds.

3. Provide your forwarding address.
